Chapter 23: AwakeningChapter 23: Awakening
[Name] felt her upper body get lifted off the ground. She managed to blink her eyes open enough to notice Jack staring down at her in horror.
She felt as though sand was running down her arm, covering her burn mark. The wound the arrow had made in her back felt like a bullet hole.
"[Name], don't worry! You're going to be fine!" Jack sounded more like he was trying to assure himself as he brushed a few hairs back behind her ear.
She stared up at Jack as her eyes began to flutter in an attempt to keep them open.
"Please, don't shut your eyes," Jack begged as he grabbed her hand, squeezing it tightly in despair.

Chapter 24: New BodyChapter 24: New Body
[Name] finally let go of Jack when he realized the changes to her body.
"My hair..." [Name] walked over to the lake and looked down to inspecting herself. Her [colour] hair now had white covering about two inches of the tips, and her [colour] eyes were now a brilliant sky blue.
"Jack..." [Name] murmured, "Am I a spirit?"
Jack walked over to her so he could see his reflection next to hers. Their skin, clothes, and eyes matched now. "Yeah." Jack nodded and looked at her.
[Name] smiled before bending down to touch the surface of the water with her fingertip, causing a sheet of ice to appear underneath it, "Good."

"What?!" All the guardians asked in unison, staring at [Name] as Jack explained what had happened.
Tooth flew over to [Name] and landed in front of her, "I'm happy to hear about your marriage, [Name], really..." it sounded like Tooth was forcing herself to be happy. "But, how did this happen to you...?"
[Name] lifted an eyebrow, didn't Jack just tell her this?
Bunnymund hopped over to get a good look at [Name]. "Well, you're no guardian, mate. But you definitely are immortal like the rest of us."

[Name] woke up in the morning, yawning as she looked over at Jack. She smiled and looked around, noticing that the area around them was frozen over. They must've frozen the area around them as they slept.
She stood up and walked over to the frozen lake.
[Name] touched her toe to the water and stepped out onto the lake, a thick sheet of ice appearing under her feet.
She turned around when she heard a deep yawn from Jack behind her. She turned around and walked back over to him.
"'Morning, sleepyhead."
Jack wiped the sleep out of his eyes and smiled at her before standing up and stretching.

"Jamie!" Jack yelled back in excitement as he ran over to greet his old friend.
Jack abruptly stopped and looked up at Jamie. "Oh, wow. You're definitely taller now."
Jamie smiled down at Jack. "Or you just shrunk." Jamie looked up in surprise when he noticed [Name]. "Huh? Who's that?"
[Name]'s eyes widened in surprise as she walked over to stand next to Jack, "You can see me?"
Jack looked equally surprised.
Jamie smiled. "A certain guardian of snowballs and fun times told me you're all real, so I don't have any doubts on spirits anymore. I believe in all of you."
Jack smiled at this. "Glad to hear it."

[Name] was sitting in her room reading a book for her Science class. She was currently reading up on how weather is caused. She dropped her book onto her lap when she read about how frost was created, and her thoughts were filled of Jack Frost. He hasn't visited her since she left him in the park, and that was about a week ago. Is he mad at her about that?
[Name] let out a small sigh and closed her book and placed it on the shelf. She heard a creaking sound behind her, causing the hairs on her neck raise up because she was scared of a criminal being behind her.

[Name] was laying on her stomach on her bed, laughing while playing games with Jack.
She looked over at him, who was still wearing his torn jacket, and looked at his wound which was now just a scar.
"We need to buy you a new jacket, Jack."
Jack shook his head, "Nuh-uh. Sorry, snowflake, jacket stays with me."
[Name] rolled her eyes at Jack, "you've been wearing that torn-up rag for almost five months now! Replace it!"
Jack sighed and rolled over onto his back, dropping the controller. "Aww, but then I can't show off my battle scars." He made playful puppy eyes at her and she sighed, pushing him gently.

[Name] woke up a few days later and checked her phone to see what time it was.
Her eyes widened in excitement as she realized it was her eighteen birthday, finally.
She looked over to where Jack should've been laying, but instead found a note.
She picked up the note and began to read it:
"[Name],
I've gone to the North Pole for a little while, sorry if you had to wake up and find me missing."
-Love, Jack"
[Name]s eyes began to droop. She was looking forward to spending her birthday with Jack...
She looked up again to notice that he had more written:
"P.S.
Don't worry, I'm not going to miss your birthday, I'll b

"Y--yes!" [Name] stuttered in excitement, "Yes, yes, yes!"
She began bouncing up and down in excitement as Jack gently placed the ring on her finger. She lifted up her hand, her other on her cheek. Her face turned pinkish-red as she inspected the ring.
It was a silver ring engraved with snowflakes, each snowflake had frost filling it to the brim.
[Name] excitedly looked up at Jack and jumped on him, trying to hold back squeals of excitement.
Her mom chuckled at her daughter and jokingly said, "I now pronounce you man and wife." Then she sighed, "Technically, you are." [Name] looked over at her mom in confusion.

[Name] slowly opened her eyes in the morning and yawned, sitting up.
She looked over at the window to see Jack had fallen asleep where he was sitting.
She sighed and smiled, and then wrote a note telling him that she was going for a walk.
[Name] grabbed her trench coat and slipped it on before walking downstairs and opening the door to leave the house.
She looked at the snow covered ground as she veered off of the cement to feel the cold on her bare feet. Jack must be rubbing off on her, she's bare foot almost everywhere she goes now.
[Name] began to walk toward the forest and took a natural path, admiring the beau

[Name] tumbled out of the portal, landing on her bottom with a chuckling Jack walking out after her. [Name] rubbed her head before looking up, her breath catching in her throat at the beauty of the place she was in.
It was a giant palace sticking out from the bottom of a mountainous range and it looked like small hummingbirds were flying around everywhere, placing teeth into capsules and grabbing quarters from machines.
"Th-this is beautiful!" [Name] gasped, awestruck at her surroundings.
Jack walked over to her and helped her to her feet, biting his lower lip like he was trying not to laugh. "We better go meet T

Jack hadn't moved since he whispered the words, so [Name] moved her head to look over at Jack, and noticed he fell asleep on her shoulder. He must've been tired.
[Name] looked back up at the ceiling, thinking about what had happened. She sighed, she didn't want to wake up Jack, and so she sat still for a few hours before Jack finally stirred.
"Good morning, sleepyhead." [Name] smiled, looking over as Jack's silver-blue eyes began to blink open. Jack just stared at her, and then his face turned red as he bolted back upward, his hand on his forehead.

[Name] looked up at a clothing store as she walked in the town with Jack. She looked over to face him, "Do you ever wash your clothes?"
Jack lifted an eyebrow and sniffed under his arm, "Why, does it smell bad?"
[Name] giggled and butted him with her hip; "You know that's not what I meant!" she walked past the clothing store and looked out at the park fountain. "I just happened to notice you wear the same clothes all of the time."
Jack shrugged, "I haven't exactly thought of it." He floated over to her and sat down on top of the statue. "Jack, get down from there!" [Name] called up. She noticed his eyes went wid

[Name] stood in the empty clearing, her fingertips still sitting on her bottom lip. She still couldn't believe it. A spirit loving a mortal.
[Name] shook her head. He might be a spirit, but she knew how she felt about him, too. [Name] pulled her trench coat tighter around herself before beginning to run the direction that Jack had flown off to.

      [Name] was calmed down enough to walk into her house silently. She shut the door quietly after Jack had walked in, and then went over to where her mom was reading her book.
      "Mom?"
Her mom turned around and smiled at her, wrinkles forming around her mouth. "Hello, sweetie."
      "Is it ok if I go out for a while tomorrow?"
      "Matters on how long you're talking about and where you're going."
      [Name] glanced at Jack, asking him with her eyes what she should say. Her mom noticed her staring off into space, "What are you looking at?"

Chapter 26: Pennsylvania

Chapter 26:  Pennsylvania
[Name] floated above the clouds before looking down at the ground where Jack was waiting.
She turned around and spiraled downwards, pulling some of the clouds with her.
[Name] neatly landed in front of Jack and smoothed out her hair, "How was that?"
Jack sighed and smiled. "Just as good as every other time."
[Name] laughed and began freezing the park's fountain to walk along it. She'd been a guardian for about a month now and she was beginning to get bored of her hometown.
"Aw, come on, Jack. Can't we go somewhere other than this?" [Name] turned around to face him as she asked the question.
Jack lifted an eyebrow at her, "I thought you liked your hometown."
[Name] jumped and floated over to him. "But I'm a spirit now! This is a chance to explore the world."
Jack laughed, "Alright, alright."
He shuffled around in his torn jacket's pocket and pulled out a snow globe, "I haven't checked on Jamie in a while..."
"Ohh, I'm going to get to meet Jamie?"
Jack smiled at her. "I suppose so." He looked down at the snow globe and frowned. "It's been years though... I wonder if he'd still see me."
[Name] looked up at Jack and placed an arm on his shoulder, "I'm sure he still believes in you."
Jack smiled. "Yeah. Well, I guess we're heading to Pennsylvania."
[Name] watched as he smashed down the snow globe, then walked into the portal.
Jack looked around when they appeared on the other side. "Well, at least the park hasn't changed," he commented as he saw the statue that Jamie crash landed in front of years ago.
Jack pointed out structures to [Name] until they both froze and turned around to the sound of a deep voice.
