Chapter 10: North and Sandy
[Name] just stood, her jaw on the ground as she stared at the guardians. "Th-they are real!" She gasped, turning her gaze to Toothiana. She was a lot prettier than she imagined her being.
"Is this the young girl you were telling us about, Jack?" Santa asked, walking forwards to observe [Name].
[Name] stared at him; she didn't think Santa would have tattoos and an accent.
Jack nodded, "I'm sure you know who Santa is, [Name]. We call him North, instead."
Jack looked at the other guardians, "I'm going to introduce [Name] to North first, since we're already here. Why don't you guys meet us at your places?"
Before [Name] could look around North to see which direction they were heading, they disappeared.
"Alright. So like I said, this is Santa, but we call him North."
"Hello, North." [Name] shyly tugged her hair tips as she stared up at the large man. She couldn't believe this was Santa Claus, he looked over six feet tall and had tattoos etched onto his forearms.
North smiled and placed his hand on top of her head, ruffling her hair. She noticed how his tattoos were of the 'Naughty' and 'Nice' lists. She couldn't help but wonder which she was on, since she never believed the guardians until she met Jack a couple of months back.
"I would show you my workshop, young one. But it is messy with a ton of broken toys I need to fix." North sighed, "So, we'll introduce you to Sandy, instead!"
[Name] hadn't realized the Sandman didn't leave, and looked around North to see a small sandy yellow man. He wasn't called the Sandman for nothing.
[Name] cautiously walked forward and bent down in front of Sandy. "Hello, Sandy."
Sandy lifted one of his short arms to wave 'hello' back at her.
"Not very talkative, is he?" [Name] observed.
"Well, he was made to be quiet so he wouldn't wake sleeping children when he sent them their dreams," Jack explained, walking forward to bend down beside [Name]. "So, he communicates by either moving his arms and head, or he makes sand formations."
[Name] blinked a few times at Jack, then went back to staring at the small man, "that's actually very interesting." She murmured quietly, taking note in her head what both North and Sandy looked like.
"Well, I guess you two should be heading off to your next destination, shouldn't you? Since we didn't exactly have much to show, I apologize for that." North patted [Name] on the back as she went over to stand next to Jack again. "At least you can see two places in one day, right?" [Name] nodded in gratitude. She respected North, he reminded her of her own dad.
Jack smiled at her and pulled out the snow globe, again. "Well, I guess we should be heading to Toothiana's place now, shouldn't we?" He shook the snow globe and threw it, causing a portal with the image of giant palace in between dozens of mountains appearing.
Jack gently pushed [Name] towards the portal with the tip of his staff, which they then disappeared in.
